Hi Everyone,
Very hot out today isn't it! We beat the heat yesterday at Summer Camp by playing in the fountain. The program for the day was about Africa, so we all made Ndebele paintings. The class all enjoyed finger painting and the results were very strong and expressive!

Summer Camp- Day 2

We started the day with introductions. After, we played an "ice breaker" game in circle time that I like to call UP DOWN TRUMP. Students choose a card and stick it on their forehead. They have 3 chances to guess the number on the card, each time their friends tell them to guess "up" or "down". The boys really enjoyed, but the idea of licking your hand and wetting your forehead to make the card stick didn't appeal to the girls. Later, we went to Nissan Stadium for lunch and some dancing. The kids enjoyed playing in the fountain nearby and we had a friendly water pistol fight. What a great way to beat the heat!

昨日より夏休みがスタートしましたが、暑い中いかがお過ごしですか？

夏休み前に演じたパフォーミングアーツショー、頑張りましたね!

暑いですので、身体に気をつけて、楽しい夏休みを過ごして下さい。

ILH幼稚部のお父様方が中心となって、おうどん作りを子ども達と一緒に

行って下さいました。

子ども達も楽しめましたし、また外国人の先生も興味津々!!

とても素敵な交流がもてました。

有難うございました。

少し雲っていましたが、子ども達はPOOL遊びを"キャッキャ"言いながら

楽しんでいました。また出来るかな？
