Yesterday Mercury class visited the local Yokohama fire station. We presented the firemen with badges made by the students to show appreciation for their hard work. The captain and his crew then gave us a grand tour of the station, allowing the students to sit in the fire engines, wear the fire-proof jackets, and try their hand at some training exercises. Students also had a chance to ask the firemen some questions. It was a fun and informative trip indeed!
